Law Firm of K.D. Vinson

     Attorney Karin D. Vinson is a native of Fort Valley, GA. She began her collegiate career as a Presidential Scholar at Fort Valley State University (FVSU) in August of 2006. While attending FVSU, she served as Chapter President of Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Science; and also as a member of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society, Political Science Student Association, and Criminal Justice Club. In May of 2010, Karin graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science.

 

     After graduating FVSU with honors, Karin matriculated to Southern University Law Center (SULC) on a partial scholarship. Following one year at SULC, Karin transferred to Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS), where she graduated with a degree of Juris Doctor in May of 2013. While at AJMLS, Karin participated as a member of the Family Law Society, Property Society, Phi Alpha Delta Honor Society, Black Law Student Association, American Bar Association, and Atlanta Bar Association. Also while attending AJMLS Karin gained professional experience in several legal areas, including: criminal law, family law, mediation, and real estate law. She has a natural ability for both working with others and working independently to accomplish any task she is given. Additionally, her diverse background enables her to work for and with a vast majority of people. Early on in Karin’s scholastic and professional career, she made it her personal and professional goal to use her legal expertise to strive for excellence by helping those in her community and the surrounding communities through education and service.

 

     Karin started The Law Firm of K. D. Vinson & Associates, LLC in June of 2014. Her firm is now located in Fort Valley, GA, and offers legal services of a superior value in family law, estate planning, criminal law, personal injury, and general civil litigation.  She currently serves on the board of directors for a non-profit corporation, and as a committee member of the Middle Georgia Community Action Agency’s Fatherhood Advisory Committee. Karin is also an active member of her church.
